After Effects, Rain, & Flash Blend Modes

Check out the little app I made below which consists of an FLV of simulated rain created in After Effects. The FLV was embedded and you can use the different blend modes to achieve different results. This basically allows you to remove the black background of the rain without using embedded alpha channels. This is one of tutorials that will be included in the “Flash Professional 8 Video Integration” title that I just finished recording for Lynda.com. It should be out very soon!

    excellent piece of work.
if you look carefully in flash the rain effect is a video embeed symbol. This can be used with your own animation.
    Too bad it stresses CPU.

Can I ask how you made the rain in AE?
