I just got on the Twitter bandwagon and wanted to whip up something. The example below uses Papervision3D to display my last 20 Twitter entries. You just click on them to cycle through them. I tried using the actual Twitter AS3 library but I kept getting compile errors for some reason. Just click on the image below to check it out.

I like your app but to me Twitter has to be the one of the most meaningless sites ever to have seen daylight. All it builds up is a TON of disinformation that no one but the author benefits from (I mean – no offense – but what good is for me to know that you have wathced Seinfeld 23:07:03 on 2/13???).
Try unchecking “strict mode” on the AS3 Publishing settings.

i know this is a stupid question….but where do you go to sign up for papervision 3D ?!
Realy sweent Twitter, I know this is not the place to post questions but how did u manage to make tween to be not desturbed, I am making website and onece one of four buttons is press animation happens but if animation isn’t onver yet and user presses second button it get some funky behaviour, really a mess… How to prevent that from happening, I want animation to finish.

Hi Lee. Any chance of the source code for this example. I have tried to decompile it as I know would
but no success, I assume its because its written in AS3 which I dont think SWF decompiler supports. I have been playing around with Sandy etc and now want to get stuck into Papervision and think this might be a nice simple bit of source code to review to make my own projects.

Yup, I just get a blank screen if I click on the example
Would like to see a tut on this. I get loads of compiler errors, duplicate vars, URL’s not defined…
I fixed those, and now get error opening URL, stream error… nightmare. I think I’ll have to write my own from the JavaScript one that does work. Will post again when it’s done
