You knew this was going to be coming. I’ve adapted the liquid example to use an FLV video. This one pushes the limits of your computer though. Let me know how it runs for you.

Thanks for the screenshot Mario! Yeah this is a 30fps external FLV so I’m not surprised it is moving slowly

Strange. The effect doesn’t work with the Flash 8 player in Firefox (I just see the video). IE player works as expected. Is it just me?

Hey, Lee. Firefox absolutely chokes on this, but Safari seems to handle it well. 10.4.2, Dual 2gigs. Cool stuff.
By the way, Safari uses 32% of CPU power. Firefox uses 95%.
Crawls on 1.8 ghz mobile pentium 4 cpu 512mb ram … not recommended my machine is struggling!
Yeah I think these types of effects with video will only be useful if the video clip is a slower fps and smaller size.

was the water effect scripted. It seems to be around but I haven’t been able to find any of the coding posted. Could anyone point me in thr right direction. I want to try it out on a large scale infra-red hands on controlled environment. Thanks for any leads.
