I’m really excited that I’ll be in Portland for most of next week. There are a bunch of reasons for my visit including doing some interviews for Flasher, presenting to the Portland Flash User Group, visiting a huge corporation known for doing great Flash work, as well as stopping by to visit the folks at Summit Projects. I’ll also be heading to Mt. Hood on Friday afternoon to do some snowboarding.
The user group presentation will take place at 6:30pm on Thursday night. Go over to the group’s website for all the details. If you happen to be riding at Hood on Friday see if you can find me 
. From what I hear the snow is amazing up there right now.
Update: I forgot to mention that I will also be raffling off two copies of CS4 Master Collection at the user group meeting.

Are you going to hood, ski boll, or timberline?
If you like tree runs Timber line is the best, if you like park and more all around resort meadows is good and ski boll is you like back country.
A word to all your Portlanders, DON’T EVER MOVE! the rest of the world is a flat pancake of gray death and despair. Sorry, I didn’t really mean that…The Midwest is a good place too……
Wow, I almost feel bad for you. You’ll be 3 measly hours (and one gigantic flooded interstate) from the best city in the world.
@Ryan Wow Ryan you just insulted everyone in Portland. Seattle is nice don’t get me wrong, but the “best city in the world” might be a little much

@Ryan – Quite a few people say that Portland is similar to Seattle but without the big city problems. Just saying… next time you come down I’ll have to show you why Portland rocks.
I’m envious. Portland is my favorite city to visit in the states.

Have a good time Lee – used to live up on the mountain (zigzag) – now down in the burbs. Portland is great – be sure to take in some sights – and micro-brew if your inclined. Stop by powell’s books as well if you never been.

Thanks for the presentation Lee. You are one of the main reasons I was able to get into Flash, as your tutorials really showed me what Flash could do.
