Cue Point Driven FLV Effects Browser

Here’s a little app I made which allows you to choose the effect and sound effect that you want displayed when a cue point is fired. All of the effects are external FLV files generated in After Effects.

  1. That was funny. I chugged a bit on my 700MHz Thinkpad, but was fun anyway. :)

Excellent, love the fart sound especially”! One question, is there a way of preloading the visual effect flv’s as I notice when they first play there is stutter as it loads the frames for the first time?

  3. steve says:

the flv will be progressive the way you mention would be to embedd the video which increases the size and prolly needs a preloader – but then i am no expert :-)

    Thats pretty awsome!

That’s funny. Very nice job, but you might want to preload the effects FLVs. Although I realize it’s just a proof of concept.

    very nice.

Im wondering how you got the effects from after effects to render with an alpha?? ..so only the effect shows up on top in flash? and not hte background from after effects???

    Lee,

Where is the Cue Point Driven FLV Effects Browser App? I’m taking a crack at building something like this for myself and was wondering if you can share the code. Love you work! Thanks.
